Project Details

01 / CALCULATION
In IP mode, the camera/NVR main-stream bitrate can be used.
Example: if the NVR/camera setting shows 4096 Kbps, enter 4096. The Gazitech estimated table is not used in this mode.
64 Kbps is the default planning value. Enter the actual value if the device uses a different audio bitrate.
Technical note: Automatic mode plans capacity with estimated bitrates. Manual mode uses the configured camera/NVR or DVR/XVR channel bitrate. Enabled audio is included separately. Results are for planning; actual use varies with camera model, VBR/CBR, scene activity, night imaging, WDR, smart-codec behaviour and recorder settings. Verify manufacturer data and real site conditions for critical projects.
Automatic + Professional modes

Use an estimated bitrate for convenience or the actual main-stream value for more precise planning.

20% planning margin

A capacity margin above the net requirement provides safer disk planning.

Single / multiple disk suggestion

When one disk is insufficient, the result automatically recommends a multiple-HDD layout.
